Seeing The Unseeable
Thermal Imaging or Thermography is the way to detect, display and record thermal patterns and temperature values across a given surface.
Thermography has a long history, although its use has increased dramatically with the commercial, industrial and domestic applications in the last fifty years. Fire fighters use thermography to see through smoke to find people and to localise the base of a fire. Electricians use thermography to locate overheating joints, vulnerable parts and sections of power lines to eliminate risk of fire and potentially costly failures. Building inspectors can see heat leaks to improve the efficiencies of cooling or heating. Thermal imaging can be used to locate damp or missing insulation, water leakage, termite infestations or even to establish fluid levels in closed liquid tanks.
We are independent South Australian family business which specialises in contact-free, non destructive thermal imaging inspections using High Definition FLIR Infrared Camera with MSX technology. Our scope of works are included, but not limited to:
- pre/post purchase building thermal inspections;
- inspections of electrical switchboards as fire prevention;
- thermal inspections of insulation, solar panels, air conditioning, hot water systems:
- locating heat leaks;
- and more…
